Lucinda and James DeWalt were the first couple to live in this bungalow. James was a chauffeur, and Lucinda probably sat in a chair just like this one while she waited for him to finish work. These days, we notice that the chair sometimes rocks on its own, so before we sit in it ourselves, we ask Lucinda for permission.
